About us

Xapimed enables a collaborative approach to the management and development of skills and competencies for nurses at the hospital bedside. 
 Xapimed allows hospital nurse leaders and nurses themselves to drive the evaluation, tracking, and enhancement of observed nursing skills in the line of work by providing effective mobile and cloud-based tools for up-skilling nurses on the go. Through an engaging and collaborative process, we give nurse leaders instant visibility into their team’s skills and competencies in real-time 24/7. 
 Whilst there are large proprietary HR applications that can record skills, (Oracle, Cornerstone-on-demand, Workday, etc.) they are generalist systems, not specifically tailored to the unique needs of hospital nursing.    For most hospitals, such skills data (if tracked at all) are collected in disparate uncontrolled spreadsheets and uploaded in highly abbreviated form to corporate HR Systems (often only for compliance reasons). This data is of limited value to the hospitals in its condensed format, especially for the management of skills and competencies. However, this data is essential for ensuring hospital compliance, patient safety, and continuous improvement of patient outcomes. 
 By digitizing previously manual and paper-based systems, Xapimed enables organizations to reduce human error, as well as provides healthcare organizations with more complex data for analysis. Xapimed reduces the cognitive load of nurses, lessening stress and freeing up their time to care for patients, in doing so improving patient outcomes.
