    ⚽ What's the similarity between being a Founder and being a legendary, goal scoring soccer player?? 🥅 That's one of the many questions answered in my Xsellerate Pty Ltd Founder Insights interview with Oliver Berger recently, serial Founder of successful Startups and highly rated Startmate Mentor. "Relentlessness was really important. Taking over the opportunity and making the most of it." Oliver explained. "There was a famous soccer player in the UK called Gary Lineker. He was a tremendously good, skillful footballer but he used to score a lot of goals, and most of those goals were within 5 metres of the goal line. This was once called out to him. A journalist asked him 'how are you always in the right place at the right time to score these goals' and his response was 'I'm not in the right place at the right time, I'm in the right place all the time.'"     ✅ Create a 'positive problem' for your business before hiring your first sales resource! ✅ That was the advice given by Dale Clareburt when I interviewed her earlier this year as part of the Xsellerate Pty Ltd Founder Insights Series and I thought it was worth revisiting. I see too many Founders hire their first sales resources before they're truly ready to do so. Some questions Dale recommends asking first is - 1️⃣ Do you have enough leads for them to work with? 2️⃣ Is it sales you need or do you need a marketing resource? 3️⃣ Do you have enough runway to support a new resource? 4️⃣ Do you have a 'positive problem' that they can solve? Great tips from Dale who has 'been there, done that' and is now back doing it again!

It’s not just about making a purchase; it’s about making the right decision for their business. In the B2B SaaS space, according to HockeyStack it takes the following to close : 700 Linkedin impressions and 54 touchpoints - From the first impression to MQL. 1068 Linkedin impressions and 87 touchpoints.- From MQL to SQL. 836 Linkedin impressions and 81 touchpoints from SQL until the deal is closed. deal?
