Just returned from an enlightening AI for financial advisors’ conference as part of the YBL.AI team that attended. We had the chance to connect with several innovative companies such as jump.app, zocks, and vegaminds as well as many people in the industry. The desire for digital transformation around AI by financial planners is real and no one wants to be left behind! There were three standout sessions that left an impression. Microsoft's session delved into the future with agents, context, memory, and flexible interfaces, showcasing their cutting-edge approach to AI. The session with Michael Kitces – a consultant to the financial advice industry in the US - was a deep dive into the reality of AI integration into a practice. Financial advisors are already testing out apps such as ChatGPT and Gemini. However, designing the right prompt remains a challenge—no one has quite cracked the code yet. The marketing panel was equally intriguing, highlighting ongoing experiments with prompts that are shaping the future of AI in marketing. Clearly, we're in the early stages of AI's impact on financial planning and wealth management. My friends have built the Copilot for financial planners, YBL.AI, and while I shouldn't be surprised at this point with the capabilities of LLMs, the ability to compress hours of manual, compliance heavy tasks to legally give advice down to minutes....so financial advisors can focus on better advice to more clients. File uploads and a quick summary You can upload files directly from YRBL Copilot. For the files you've uploaded, YRBL Copilot can quickly summarize the key points for you. Just ask it to provide a summary in plain English. 3. To record meetings & chat with Copilot at the same time You can record a story, using the conversation summary as a reminder of topics to cover, and see the transcription happening live. During the recording, you will also be able to interact with Copilot to create a richer conversation experience. 4. Two-way data management with Xplan For those using Xplan as your CRM, YRBL's AI agent can now access your client's personal and financial data from Xplan CRM and update these records from YRBL. This integration reduces the need for rekeying and form filling, saving you time with more efficient and user-friendly handling of Xplan data. 5. Improved Security with Recaptcha We've implemented Recaptcha to enhance security, ensuring a safer and more secure environment for your interactions. 6. Various Bug Fixes We've addressed and resolved various bugs in the app. Many of these were minor and not easily noticeable, and listing them all would make this a very long email.
