I led a multi-camera video production project to capture a unique performance by world-class musicians Tunji Beier, Philip Griffin, and Linsey Pollak at the stunning Ewen Maddock Dam in Queensland. With camera operation and assistance from Vanessa van Dalsen, we faced the challenges of capturing a live performance outdoors at sunrise. I captured a showing and post-show Q&A and produced a 3-minute presenter video for the theatrical production "AWAKE," featuring interviews with key creatives, highlights from the showing, and candid rehearsal moments. The video effectively captured the essence of the play, which delves into the public rituals of farewell and the private experiences of grief. The video also provided insights into the creative process and the team's future plans for "AWAKE."

I contributed to the creation of the "Guilty of a Good Time" music video for The Wet Whistles, assisting with setup, lighting design, and co-directing. Alongside Vanessa van Dalsen, we transformed a single room into multiple distinct scenes through careful lighting and camera placement. This collaborative effort resulted in a dynamic and visually engaging music video that perfectly captured the band's energetic performance style.

When creating their live performances, Everybody NOW’s team of professional artists collaborate with community members to see their stories reflected and celebrated on stage. In most cases, the community members are also in the show themselves. This project was about extending those relationships and stories into a digital platform which could be experienced by more people.

The Storyteller-in-Residence project engaged film-maker and artist Tnee Dyer to create a five-part documentary series diving into the lives of people who manifest movement through music, dance, poetry and roller skating.

The Storyteller-In-Residence Series set out to discover the transcendental power of movement and unlock the mysteries of connection to our bodies, ourselves and each other.

Armed with the provocation “What Moves You?” the inaugural Storyteller-in-Resident, Tnee, spent six months meeting and moving with the interviewees, who had each participated in a previous Everybody NOW project or production. The five episodes each provide unique perspectives, spanning across generations, backgrounds and creative influences, from:

Josh Murphy – A 16-year-old rockstar-in-the-making from Currumbin
Margo Knox - Discovering slam poetry in her late seventies
Dee Bradbery – A female drummer and multi-instrumentalist from Ipswich
Jazi Oathman – A street dancer from Coomera, and
Carla Baxter – A Roller Derby powerhouse mum from mighty Wulkuraka.

Singers joined us at Brisbane Riverstage on 15 May 2021 for their first major (COVID-safe) performance, where they came together to film a MUSIC VIDEO! Our phenomenal film crew captured this performance and produced a spectacular choral capsule of life in these interesting times.

ATSICHS Brisbane offers Coordination of Support for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants. Our skilled and knowledgeable NDIS team help participants understand, implement and use their NDIS plan. Raw Mint was commissioned to produce a video that would alleviate any fears and concerns around the annual audition process at QYO. Working with a variety of young musicians Tnee was able to create a video that was both informative and comforting to watch. QYO audition numbers have increased since the release of the video

Gran Slam is a community engagement project that gives voice to older Australians using the form of Slam Poetry. The project is an opportunity for seniors – the original change makers and wordsmiths of wisdom – to write and perform poetry that moves and inspires. Gran Slam calls on passionate over 65’s with something important to say, a declaration to make, an opinion to be penned, a story to share.

But this isn’t your average “DJ in a school hall” type of kid’s disco – it’s a disco, performance and dance workshop all rolled into one.

Retro love gurus Barbara & Barry brought a vintage touch to regional WA this past month as their Sweet, Sour & Saucy cabaret show swept through 15 communities presented by Shows on the Go with Act-Belong-Commit.

The duo traversed the Wheatbelt, Goldfields-Esperance, Great Southern, South West and Mid West regions as a part of the Shows on the Go program, also hosting 11 workshops and travelling a total of 4,283.5 KMs in just under 5 weeks.

Participants were equally receptive at a workshop the day in Northcliffe’s Painted Tree Gallery, where a group of 14 enthusiastic singers honed their craft under the tutelage of Barbara & Barry, summing up the experience as exhilarating, inspired, fun and happy. The ways in which workshop participants encouraged one another and found their voices through collaboration and engagement prove how strong connections with family, friends and the broader community are essential ingredients to maintaining mental health. Under the musical direction of fellow 2015 nominee Tnee Dyer, the evening’s entertainment showcased more leading local talent, with performances by THE VOICE alumnus Ellen Reid and the cast of BOY&GIRL, WOMEN IN VOICE and acrobatic duo Ale Wecked-Huck and Ellie Cox and the winner of the 2015 Best Emerging Artist Award Georgie Hopson.

The new model to deliver three products in one tour with a small artist team was successful. The format proved to be an economical way to attract wide and different target audiences within a limited timeframe and deliver value-for-money for their presenters. Show less
