Some incredible work from the team on this dam cover project in Merredin. 👏 Initially designed for a 65x90m dam, the dam cover had to be adjusted when the actual surface area measured 77x44m. Although the plan was to deploy 8 modules, only 4 could be installed due to a decrease in water levels during installation. The remaining 13 modules are currently stored for future use, with the intention of installing them on another dam.

In a pivotal move, Melconnx strategically redeployed Ellenbrook line covers to the Metconnx Byford rail extension following the decommissioning of turkey nest dams. This is paramount for Byford, securing a sustainable source of potable water. Daisy, with expertise, spearheaded the meticulous repair and reinstallation.
