Qubadli Cultural Center - Concept Project The Qubadli Cultural Center, located in the liberated region of Qubadli, Azerbaijan, is a symbol of resilience and cultural revival. The project represents a harmonious blend of contemporary design and regional heritage. The structure, with its sharp, angular forms, draws inspiration from the surrounding mountainous landscape. This facility houses diverse spaces, including exhibition areas, a museum, a digital interactive art zone, a library, and workshops, all aimed at fostering creativity and learning. The center also features an auditorium, computer rooms, and conference halls, making it a hub for both cultural expression and community engagement. By blending modern architecture with a deep respect for local heritage, the Qubadli Cultural Center stands as a symbol of cultural revival and intellectual growth for the region. Its design emphasizes sustainability and environmental integration, with large glass facades allowing natural light to permeate the interiors, reducing the need for artificial lighting. The building’s roof structure is designed to channel rainwater, which is then used for irrigation of the surrounding green spaces. The facade of the building features perforated metal panels, which not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also serve a functional purpose, providing shade and reducing solar heat gain. The interplay of light and shadow created by these panels adds a dynamic quality to the building’s appearance, changing throughout the day. The design concept emphasizes the integration of advanced medical facilities with the natural landscape, ensuring a healing atmosphere for patients and a functional, efficient workspace for healthcare professionals. Featuring a contemporary architectural style characterized by clean lines and vertical elements, the design incorporates extensive use of glass to maximize natural light and provide a connection to the outdoors, promoting a sense of calm and well-being. The layout is meticulously planned to ensure easy navigation for patients, visitors, and staff, with clearly defined zones for different medical services enhancing operational efficiency and patient flow. The Stationary Hospital and Polyclinic in Zangilan is set to become a benchmark for modern healthcare facilities in the region.
