Today, September 20, marks the 30th anniversary of the signing of the "Contract of the Century," which laid the groundwork for a new era in the history of the Azerbaijan Republic's oil sector! The "Contract of the Century" is considered a cornerstone that defines the main trends of Azerbaijan's energy strategy, established by the prominent political and state figure, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and it transformed Azerbaijan into one of the world's oil exporters. Thus, it was the "Contract of the Century" that set the foundation for the oil strategy of independent Azerbaijan.
