I can't remember how I found Guilhem Desq, I think I was looking for music when I was world-building for dungeons and dragons...
And what better music is there for such? The Visions album perfectly captures every emotion, every essence of a world I could only hope to create.
I listen to Electronic Gems and their artists quite often.
It's nice to see a bunch of artists, and some that I hadn't seen before, make such colorful works of art.
Such an odd duality that this album covers. Both the primal and visceral sense of destruction and violence, paired with the complex but unfeeling heart of ever adapting machinery.
It's as if we see two different times very far from one another... A past where the flame of Prometheus was not yet given to man, and a future where the flame is an ever consuming aberration.
