Actually insane. The sample usage 100, the flows on experimental tracks 100, everything 100. We get more gospel tracks from Peggy, which makes me really happy and I think he’s almost completely mastered gospel sample. Outside of gospel sampling, there’s also creative sampling like Japanese commercials being used, anime themes, and fucking Kelis + P Diddy. Also a MOODY JAZZ SONG (WHAT???). The only lacking thing would be some of the bars from Danny+Peggy, but this is a test run and isn’t all bad.

One of the greatest albums of the last decade. Filled with great production and incredible poetry. I really hope Noname decides on her own terms one day to make more music because I know there’s more amazing projects she can create and inspire more people through those potential albums.

This album means so much to me. Whenever I need to reflect on myself or life, I put this album on. The calm and melancholy feelings that it gives its listener forces them to think back on things that has happened to them or things that might be happening in the present. Peggy has always been a gifted artist, no matter what era.
