𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐨 is seeking a 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 (𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝) to join the Engineering team. In this role, you'll develop critical enterprise solutions to support our vast network of merchants, along with thousands of people that run our day to day operations. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨: • Architect, design, and develop backend services and APIs using PHP/Golang and related technologies to ensure the platform is scalable and secure • Continuously improve system performance and reliability, monitor and optimize performance of every API built • Work closely with product managers and front-end engineers to build end-to-end features, ensure smooth integration across the entire application stack • Enforce high standards for code quality, security, and documentation. Implement best practices in backend development, including unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines • Consistently review performance characteristics, system design and architecture to allow for systems to scale and operate reliably, ensuring high-availability and low latency • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, contributing to the growth and improvement of the team’s technical expertise • Design systems to be fault tolerant and adaptable to the unique needs and limitations of different user profiles 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠: • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on PHP and related frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.).
