On Ukrainian Independence Day, airports across Europe are showing their support for Ukraine – by highlighting the gratitude of Ukrainian people for the unwavering advocacy from European nations and citizens. “The Smallest Support” campaign organised by Ukrainian Institute will spread the messages of gratitude from Ukrainians throughout Europe. From the biggest airport digital screens to unique newspapers, the campaign is sharing the quotes from the social media, where Ukrainians thank people for their supportive content. ACI EUROPE has stood by Ukraine, advocating for long-term support for Ukraine’s airports, which will be crucial for the economic and societal recovery of Ukraine once peace is restored. ACI EUROPE’s Director General Olivier Jankovec and President Armando Brunini visited Kyiv in February to meet with Ukrainian members, their government, and relevant authorities to advocate for the necessary support. ACI EUROPE will continue supporting their Ukrainian members, and highlighting the importance of re-establishing operational readiness for Ukraine’s airports.
