A core activity of AM-Team is industrial application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD). We not only drive better technology development, selection and design, but also digital twin development. Which statements are most surprising? 1. Complete project turnaround for CFD is typically in the order of weeks. And simulation time is not at all the bottleneck anymore. 2. CFD needs very limited data in order to work as it is based on solid physics 3. CFD can be coupled with chemical or biological kinetics. This literally visualises what happens inside processes and can lead to next level process design, scale-up and optimisation Let us know your opinion. 👇
