💓 Today, we're celebrating European Restart a Heart Day! At Ambu, we're fully committed to raising awareness and training as many people as possible in lifesaving techniques. Every minute counts when it comes to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and thanks to our training mannequins, we help prepare healthcare professionals, as well as citizens, to intervene quickly and effectively in the event of cardiac arrest. 🚑 CPR is a vital link in the chain of survival, and we're proud to be involved in training those who will save lives.

🌍 Reducing our carbon footprint, one mask at a time! At Ambu, we're rethinking our materials for a more sustainable future. We're proud to present our new Aura range of laryngeal masks, whose bead protectors are now made from 100% bioplastic. Thanks to this innovation : • We have reduced the material used for our packaging bags by 33%. • The amount of plastic in AuraGain™ bead protector shells has decreased by 16% to 47%, depending on the size. • The bio-allocated HDPE plastic we use emits 65% less CO2 than fossil-based plastic. ♻️ Together, with our circular approach, we are taking another step towards significantly reducing our carbon footprint, while guaranteeing the quality and performance of our products. Join us in this virtuous circle!

🌍 Ambu is constantly looking for new ways to reduce the carbon footprint of its single-use endoscopes. For example, we were the first to use bioplastic materials in the handles of our endoscopes. This raw material is a blend of fossil raw materials and second-generation biosourced raw materials from food waste, such as used cooking oil, which does not compete with food production or agriculture. 💡 The ABS plastic in our handles emits 70% less CO2 than purely fossil ABS plastic. Our goal is that, by the end of 2024, the handles of all our endoscopes on the market will be made of bioplastic.
