This means invoice data will be reported directly and instantly to tax authorities, aiming to combat VAT fraud and reduce administrative burdens, including the removal of VAT listings. What does this mean for businesses? ✔️ Less admin: No more VAT listings. ✔️ Stronger fraud detection: Continuous monitoring of transactions. ✔️ EU compliance: Aligns with the VAT in a Digital Age (ViDA) directive. Belgium has chosen #Peppol as the preferred framework for this digital shift, following the earlier decision to mandate e-invoicing by 2026.
