Yesterday we presented the policy brief “Arts & Design-Based Collaboration and Cross-Innovation” at the Council of the European Union 🇪🇺 Cultural Affairs Committee. Entrenched cultural silos are big obstacles for intersectoral readiness and for working better together across sectors on policy and field levels. But it can be done, and it starts at policy level. If these practices are left unstructured and undeveloped, without policy action, it means that we not only miss out opportunity for the wider economy but risk to drain brillant and passionate professionals on all levels who have been driving forward innovative practices.
