🌍 Sustainable transport: towards a greener and more economical mobility. Sustainable transport aims to minimize negative impacts on the environment, promote public health 🏥, and be economically viable 💰. Key actions include: 🔋Reducing emissions: Use of electric and hybrid vehicles; 🚌Energy efficiency: promoting public transport and optimizing routes; 🚗Transport sharing: encouraging carpooling and bike-sharing systems; 🚴♀️Green infrastructure: developing bike lanes and pedestrian zones. The European Union has set ambitious goals: 2030: 30 million zero-emission vehicles and doubling high-speed rail traffic 🚄. 2035: commercialization of zero-emission aircraft ✈️. 2050: all new vehicles will be zero-emission. In France, free-floating (bikes and scooters 🛴 in self-service) is gaining in popularity, offering flexibility and freedom of movement. Teleworking, reinforced by the health crisis, reduces transport usage and encourages soft mobility.
