🌍 WHO Alert: Tuberculosis is on the Rise Globally With 8.2 million new tuberculosis cases diagnosed last year—the highest number in nearly 30 years—the WHO emphasizes the urgent health threat posed by this disease, now once again the world’s deadliest infection. In Belgium, a low-incidence country with approximately 1,000 new patients diagnosed each year, tuberculosis continues to affect vulnerable populations, most often in major cities. At BePharBel, we work daily to support this fight: we manufacture and distribute two of the four WHO-recommended frontline medications and provide diagnostic tests to organizations working directly with at-risk populations. 🤝 Inspiring connections and new opportunities : a look back at BIO-Europe 2024 in Stockholm! Angel, our Head of Business Development, is back from BIO-Europe, where the energy was palpable and collaboration opportunities were abundant! We specialize in nasal sprays, syrup, sterile ophthalmic ointments, and injectable sterile powder in vials. These are the forms where we have the strongest experience and production capacity. But we have also facilities in dry forms. 🔹 What is your production capacity? Nowadays, our factory is manufacturing 40 different products every year. We have a robust production capacity that can meet a wide range of needs, tailored to the requirements of our partners with annual volume per product ranging from 200 000 sku up to 2 million. As it varies overtime due to current ongoing contracts, best is to contact us to get the latest information. 🔹 Where are you located? We are located in Courcelles, a small town near Charleroi, in the heart of Belgium and at the center of Europe. 🔹 Are you split across several sites? No. Bepharbel is an SME with all departments located on a single site for optimal integration, efficiency and speed to market. 🔹 What services do you provide? We specialize in the optimization of formulations for small molecules and drug formulation. We manage the entire drug production process from A to Z, including supply management, analytical services, stability studies, quality control, method validation, manufacturing, packaging, serialization, and release. 🔹 Do you handle formulation adjustments? Yes. We revise files and ensure compliance for the European market. 🔹 Do you produce clinical or commercial lots? We produce both.
