Agricultural policies are complex things that must take into account the various changing situations in different areas, and the BESTMAP project will provide a framework to do just that. 📅On Feb 7th, BESTMAP held its final event in Brussels, organised by RISE Foundation, in collaboration with MIND STEP Project and AGRICORE Project as part of the #AGRIMODEL cluster, and under the umbrella of Forum for the Future of Agriculture.🇪🇺 🔎For more information about the event, read here: bit.ly/3UyTmUe

🗣️We wrap up with a panel discussion where officials from EU institutions reflect on today’s knowledge exchange, open a dialogue with stakeholders, suggest shifting focus from costs to benefits as a selling point and set the tone for the upcoming Forum for the Future of Agriculture annual conference next month.🗓️

⁉️After each presentation, dedicated Q&A sessions unfolded, allowing all the attending stakeholders, policymakers and representatives from different relevant organisations to pose questions to each speaker regarding the discussed topics.👥

💬The next speaker is James Bullock, who gives a talk on BESTMAP’s transition from regional case studies to European level of policy-making. He outlines the steps, addresses the challenges, faced throughout the process, and proposes a solution- the agile adaptive policy cycle.🔄
