About us

ECP4, The European Composites, Plastics and Polymer Processing Platform is an industry-driven collaboration that unites members from 16 countries amongst the top-level European research institutions, regional plastic clusters, and EU-level industrial organisations of plastics and composites converters. ECP4 brings innovation partners together to identify opportunities for collaborative Research and Development efforts that yield industrial innovation. The objectives of the platform are: To provide networking and collaboration among research institutions and the industry. To facilitate the access of the European plastics industry to EU research programs, thus enabling SMEs to innovate, gain competitiveness, and fulfill sustainable goals. To communicate on new technologies and their relevance for the plastics converters and the composites industry.

    🔹 Collaboration fosters innovation! 🔹 On 29 January, ECP4 successfully organised a collaborative event bringing together over 50 participants from industry and research, reinforcing the power of partnerships in the plastics and composites sector. Moderated by Marco Monti, R&D Project Manager at Proplast and ECP4 board member, the event kicked off with an introduction of ECP4 and its members’ extensive expertise. 🌍 Ten organisations, members of European Plastics Converters | EuPC, POLYMERIS, Proplast, and MONDRAGON Corporation, took the stage to present their capabilities, highlighting their potential to participate in EU-funded projects and drive forward cutting-edge developments. This event marks another milestone in fostering collaboration and shaping the future of sustainable and innovative plastics and composites.
