The March #EESCplenary is now over. At the debate on the European Commission's Work Programme with Commissioner for EU Trade Valdis Dombrovskis, our President Stefano Mallia stressed that 60% of EU businesses, even in the #defence sector, still see excessive legislation as an obstacle to scale & invest. He called on the Commission to truly deliver on the #simplification revolution as EU #businesses cannot wait any longer. We also held a debate on the New Vision on #Agriculture and #Food with Commissioner Christophe Hansen.
