🎛️ Challenge spotlight: Crowd Management This year, Telenet and Outsight are joining forces through a partnership aimed at revolutionizing crowd management. Their innovative solution, combining LiDAR sensors and a Rich Business Messaging (RBM) chatbot, measures crowd density in real-time and communicates wait times to festival-goers, enhancing safety and experience. The data collected during the PoC will now be analyzed to optimize the solution and bring it towards new horizons. 🌿 Challenge spotlight: Circularity & Recycling We are thrilled to showcase the innovative smart waste management system developed as a collaboration between Brussels Airport and the start-ups Beyond Ordering and Neurogreen. This AI-driven smart bin ecosystem educates festival-goers on proper waste disposal, making recycling engaging and efficient. The system scans items and guides users to the correct bins, ensuring accurate sorting. The data collected during the PoC will now be analyzed to optimize the solution and bring it to new heights. We are proud to unveil the winners of EntertainmentLAB's inaugural cohort: Outsight, Scenery, Beyond Ordering and Neurogreen.
 EntertainmentLAB, launched in partnership with Startup.Flanders and Tomorrowland, with the support of Bundl | Corporate Venture Development and imec.istart, aims to position Flanders as a global innovation hub. The program challenges startups to tackle complex issues in the entertainment space by providing them with access to financial, human, and intellectual capital, along with a unique opportunity to test their concepts in real-world scenarios at a Tomorrowland event in 2024. These startups will work alongside their respective corporate partners, Telenet, d&b group, and Brussels Airport, to develop a Proof of Concept and if successful, test their solutions in collaboration with Tomorrowland.
