Is it crazy to buy an electric car or bike if you can't find charging? To help cities provide appropriate charging, to get the right kinds of chargers in the right places, to create mapping and payment systems that don't leave people locked out, we launched the EU-funded USER-CHI Project. Seven fantastic cities, Barcelona, Berlin, Budapest, Florence, Murcia, Rome and Turku, and other partners, worked together on solutions that can benefit cities all over Europe. Where should you place chargers? What types of charging stations suit different people and places? What is a safe and convenient way to park electric shared electric bikes? How do local and EU policy need to shift to enable a transition to electric? We answered all these questions and more. 👉 http://mvnt.us/m2422762 #electric #electriccar

In recent years, Vantaa has seen remarkable growth, becoming a vibrant melting pot of cultures. As the city’s population continues to diversify, with Russian, Estonian, and Arabic among the most spoken foreign languages, the need for effective integration strategies has never been more critical. SMILE is an innovative project initiated by the Vantaan kaupunki - Vanda stad - City of Vantaa that takes a community-centric approach to connect families, schools, communities, and local administration, ensuring that integration is a shared, multidirectional process. “Integration is not solely a matter of authorities; it is a multidirectional process,” that involves the entire community, says Jenni Tahvanainen, project lead.  Read the full article to learn how this initiative shapes the future of integration in the city 🚀https://lnkd.in/dBmDA9pE
