💰 Which European donors contribute to democracy support the most? 📍 Our #data indicate that the EU institutions, Germany, Sweden, the UK, and the Netherlands are strong promoters of #democracy support. 🔍 When compared to the amount of #ODA, some donors spend a lot less than expected on democracy support. This is particularly the case for France and Italy, which fall short in the list of top democracy donors despite being strong ODA providers.
