𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗳𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝘇𝗶𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗵𝘂𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗷𝗱𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝟮 𝗷𝗮𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗻𝗼𝗴 Tijdens het Europese congres voor spoedeisende geneeskunde (EUSEM) toonden onderzoekers aan dat de helft van de sepsis-patiënten binnen twee jaar na opname in de spoedeisende hulp overleed. De studie omvatte 714 volwassen patiënten en bracht belangrijke risicofactoren voor sepsis-gerelateerde sterfte in kaart.
