We are thrilled to share the highlights of our Coalition for Fertility launch. Fertility Europe’s chair, Klaudija Kordic, opened the event with a powerful speech, highlighting the importance of equal access to fertility treatments and the urgent need to break down the barriers faced by those in need. “These barriers - whether legal, financial, or social - are man-made, and they must be identified and removed,” stated Klaudija. “From lack of access to fertility treatments to the difficulty of balancing work and family life, to outdated laws and lack of information about fertility - our systems are outdated. We are here to say: enough is enough! This isn’t just about medical treatment - it’s about human dignity.” she added.  Her words truly captured the essence of our mission to create a fairer, more inclusive future for all. Thank you to everyone who joined us! #CoalitionForFertility #FertilityMatters

🎉 What an incredible day it was! Our Coalition for Fertility launch event held yesterday, Tuesday, October 15, brought together diverse stakeholders and grand speakers and tackled super-important aspects of the fertility-in-all-policies approach, like education, reproductive and health rights, infertility, equal access to treatments and the urgent need to eradicate discrimination and remove man-made barriers. 🌍🧬 The event was well-attended, and we were thrilled to see such significant interest in working together to ensure everyone's reproductive autonomy. We want to say a massive thank you to all honourable speakers - MEPs Eleonora Meleti (EPP, Greece), Maria Noichl (S&D, Germany), Kira-Marie Peter Hansen (Greens, Denmark) and Marko Vesligaj (S&D, Croatia) and the Coalition members who managed to attend the event in person and tell us about their core values and activities. It was a true privilege to hear so many diverse voices and learn various perspectives on fertility. Thank you to everyone who joined us! Let’s keep this momentum going! ✨ #CoalitionForFertility #FertilityMatters

Did you know that 1 in 6 people in Europe face challenges in having the family they dream of? Many remain childless, not by choice, for complex reasons - we all know someone experiencing this, even if we don't realise it. This complexity is the reason why we’ve come together to form the Coalition for Fertility, uniting forces to support and advocate for change. Join us at 4 PM on 15 October for our Coalition Launch Reception, taking place at the Renaissance Hotel, 19 Rue du Parnasse, Brussels. The event will feature interventions from MEP Eleonora Meleti (EPP, EL), MEP Maria Noichl (S&D, DE), MEP Kira-Marie Peter-Hansen (S&D, DK), and MEP Marko Vešligaj (S&D, HR) and moderated by Katrina Sichel.   The event will also hold a Panel Discussion on Advocating for Comprehensive and Inclusive Fertility Policies in Europe featuring - apart from Fertility Europe - the European Patients' Forum, the European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual & Reproductive Rights, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), ILGA-Europe, and the UN Population Fund.   To register, sign up here: https://lnkd.in/etUCrj2s
