Yet another “back from MIPIM” post… but from a different perspective. Attending MIPIM is always a unique experience: the people, the energy, the setting (minus the weather!). Belgium has historically been very well represented at the event, with a strong presence of developers, investors, and industry leaders showcasing the country's expertise in urban development and sustainability. But as Gabari Agency continues to work with more international developers on branding, marketing, and lead generation, MIPIM has become the place to be to connect with clients, forge new relationships, and gain insights from projects shaping the future of real estate across the globe. It’s always an energizing experience to push beyond familiar borders—exploring international projects and understanding how we can integrate global insights into branding and marketing strategies for our Belgian clients. And, of course, the other way around—bringing our strong local expertise in branded experiences and lead generation to developments worldwide. Being based in the heart of Europe, #Belgium is a key entry point for the EU market, attracting international developers looking to connect with global buyers and institutional investors. One thing became clear at MIPIM: real estate is evolving beyond borders. There’s so much to learn from international experiences—whether in sustainable design, mixed-use integration, or branding strategies. At the same time, I’m convinced that Belgian expertise with its deep-rooted knowledge in urban development, mixed-use projects, and community driven real estate has valuable contributions to offer to international markets. MIPIM reaffirmed our belief: the future of real estate branding & marketing lies in a global approach leveraging insights from diverse markets while staying true to local identity.
