It's a truly flexible working environment at Greenyard. Our colleagues at Fresh Solutions in Waddinxveen has been pushing the boundaries – literally! For ten weeks, the office became a zen zone with yoga sessions twice a week. They mixed it up with Yang yoga (for those who like to break a sweat) and Yin yoga (for the office zen masters) to keep things interesting. So, why do yoga at work? Well, as well as making your body stronger, more relaxed and more flexible, yoga has been proven to reduce stress while improving your energy and concentration. For everyone who took part, the programme gave them a great and well-deserved break from work in the office, and virtually, with live participation for work-at-home colleagues via Teams. A while ago, Greenyard USA / SealdSweet started exploring the tropical market with lychees, marking their first venture into exotic produce. A decision that was driven by the growing consumer demand for this type of product. We're happy to say that today, Greenyard USA / SealdSweet is a leading importer in this segment, and they are continuously expanding their reach with new retail partnerships. Building on this success, Greenyard USA / SealdSweet has broadened their portfolio to include other tropical delights such as rambutans, mangosteens, and plantains. Our colleagues at Greenyard Frozen Belgium organised a wonderful charity walk for their employees and their families. It was about more than just getting some exercise and enjoying the sunshine. It was a great way to help employees feel good, build stronger teams and make a real difference to the local community. The team spirit didn't stop at the walk itself. All employees were encouraged to nominate charities close to their hearts, and local animal shelter De Zonnegloed vzw won the company-wide vote. This sanctuary is a safe place for animals that have been rescued, and our charity walk aimed to raise awareness, provide additional funds, and improve their facilities. With 120 people taking part, the walk raised €2.500 for De Zonnegloed. Several employees donated another budget directly to the sanctuary and they also adopted two animals.
