New developments for the second phase of the #H2Global Tender! This initiative, supported by significant funding from Germany and the Netherlands, aims to accelerate the global renewable and low-carbon hydrogen market by mitigating supply and demand risks. The first H2Global tender was awarded in the summer of 2024. Out of the 22 companies competing, Fertiglobe was selected as the winner of the first ammonia tender with its EBIC plant in Egypt. Germany has awarded a tender to buy at least 259,000 metric tons of green ammonia between 2027 and 2033, initiating a series of international tenders to import renewable and low-carbon hydrogen derivatives essential for decarbonization.
