Farewell to CHAISE and a New Chapter for Blockchain Skills in Europe 🚀 After four years of dedicated work, the CHAISE_EU Sector Skills Alliance has officially concluded, marking a significant milestone in European blockchain skills development. Today, we're thrilled to announce the launch of the European Blockchain Skills Cooperation Network (EBSCN), a new initiative designed to build on CHAISE’s legacy and address evolving blockchain skill needs across the region. The EBSCN will create a unified platform to support job seekers, employers, and educators with tailored blockchain training resources, including a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) and a skills forecasting model. By bringing together public authorities, industry partners, and educational institutions, EBSCN is set to drive Europe’s leadership in blockchain expertise with innovative training, resources, and community engagement. INATBA's Finance Working Group submitted feedback to the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) regarding MiCAR’s draft guidelines for crypto-asset classification. While we appreciate ESA's efforts to clarify the regulatory landscape, our response expressed concerns about the rising compliance costs and burdens, especially for early stage startups. These challenges will risk Europe’s competitiveness in blockchain innovation. At INATBA, we’re pushing for streamlined processes—like modular templates and simplified legal requirements—to ensure businesses can remain compliant without stifling creativity and growth.
