As a young advocate I count on MEPs to defend those values and strengthen mechanisms to ensure Member States comply with the rule of law, fundamental rights, and civic space. EU institutions should closely monitor and counter the rising anti-gender, and anti-choice backlash and discrimination, and to not fund any anti-gender and anti-choice actors. Because defending human rights is not an option or an opinion, it is a necessity." #EU4Girls
