Koios Care Empowers People with #Parkinson's using passive sensing & #AI on daily devices We're thrilled to announce the public rollout of our #self-empowerment #program designed for individuals with #Parkinson's, their families, and neurologists. The story of Louise: By using her own smartwatch and dowloaded our Google Playstore app, Louise, one of our program participants, gained a deeper understanding of her #Parkinson's in a daily fashion using the app and a report which allowed her to: - Improve communication with her #neurologist:  Louise was able to share her personalized report, leading to #adjustments in her #medication #schedule (Levodopa/Carbidopa and inhibitors). - Reduce symptoms by 1.7 hours /day: These improvements have been sustained for over 5 months, equating to approximately 250 hours of alleviated symptoms impacting daily activities. - Enhance well-being: Louise has experienced increased mobility, improved sleep quality, and a more positive mood. Impacting lives across borders: Louise's story is not unique. Over 20 people in Belgium and Greece are using Koios Care daily to gain actionable insights through their smartwatches and smartphones, and over 100 are currently in our clinical study providing clinical excellence #quality of #life insights. It was a pleasure to discuss with startups, innovators and key pharma stakeholders today organized in the #genai4pharma event in the Novartis pavilion in #Basel. Such a vibrant community! We presented the progress of Koios Care across a) early outcomes from our clinical study in #Parkinson's on passively and continuous measuring treatment response b) the impact on quality of life as a digital health tool for patients and clinicians and c) how Koios Care combines multimodal inputs from passive sensing and #AI to yield novel insights.

Driving #precision medicine using digital biomarkers! The recent Nature Portfolio paper https://lnkd.in/d-mx-2xT discusses important parameters about how the power of digital biomarkers can drive precision medicine. "While [digital] biomarkers provide clear opportunity and increased dimensionality of data sources, the increased array of sensors and, thus, data capture needs to be carefully considered ..." At Koios Care we share some insights about how we transform multimodal raw data passively captured in-the-wild into clinically meaningful indicators for #Parkinson's Disease and beyond.  We share some key insights on our whitepaper attached. We will be in the Novartis Pavilion on #April 9th for #GenAI4Pharma in #Basel to showcase some of the latest advancements in #GenAI-based technology and improve clinical development.
