  • 2Y - Faces Behind MINO ✨ In celebration of MINO's 2 years anniversary we want to take a moment to highlight the people behind MINO, and showcase what makes MINO, MINO. Starting with wonderwoman that is Ama Koranteng-Kumi. She is the mastermind, co-founder and artistic director behind MINO, next to this she also the founder and director of Bloei & Groei. Talented Tatjana Henderieckx captured Ama in her most meaningful places. Where it all started. During the pandemic Tinne Langens (co-founder) and Ama met up at Tartoer. They decided there and then to follow their dream: A space where artists, creatives and community builders meet and find common ground and get the support to thrive and make an impact. A lack of independent, inclusive, impactful spaces in the Belgian cultural landscape gave birth to MINO. “I don’t have the words to describe the past 2 years… this journey has been challenging yet so rewarding. I’m so grateful to see MINO grow. For me the key is having an entrepreneurial mindset and staying true to our values and authentic voice, even if it means going slow.” Ama lives in two big cities: Antwerp and Amsterdam. In her free time she loves to slow down and really unwind. Enjoying the simple things in life, good food with good company, drinks at my favorite Café au Lait, early morning walks or just doing absolutely nothing. Soon more information on how we’re celebrating our 2 years 💃🏽
