Het nadeel van zoveel innovatieve AI bedrijven in Gent te hebben, is natuurlijk dat deze post op zijn minst 25 keer keer wordt gerepost in ieders feed ;) We zijn wat laat met onze repost, maar konden toch deze leuke herkenning voor ons ondertussen meer dan 7-jarig trek-en-sleurwerk om bedrijven AI te leren kennen en adopteren niet laten passeren. Aan onze buren en collega's, ook de velen die onbegrijpelijk zijn vergeten op de lijst: het is tof om een leuke stad met jullie te mogen delen.
Van iMinds en Netlog tot Henchman: zo knokte Gent zich tot leidende techhub 🔥 Het nieuwe modewoord in Gent is paying it forward. Die term, ingevoerd uit Silicon Valley, betekent zoveel als elkaar belangeloos helpen, zonder een directe return te verwachten. 'Hapt de ene toe bij een veelbelovend bedrijf, dan volgt de andere. Gent is per slot van rekening een dorp. De bedrijven keerden gisterenavond voldaan huiswaarts na een inspirerende dag bij Phoenix Contact in Zaventem. Het was de vijfde bijeenkomst van de begeleidingscommissie voor het tetraproject EnergAI. Onderzoekers deelden enthousiast de tussenresultaten van het project, waarbij elke deelnemende partner de waardevolle inzichten kon meenemen naar zijn eigen organisatie. Samenwerking en kennisdeling stond hier centraal. Als bedrijf deelnemen aan zo'n onderzoeksproject van Howest AI Lab en Howest Energie Lab bleek niet alleen nuttig, maar ook bijzonder leerrijk.
