🗣️📝 Meet Olena, Ghassan and Mursal - our RISE interviewers! Odisee hogeschool and IOM Belgium and Luxemburg have recently launched two surveys on the experiences of volunteers (1) and displaced persons (2) involved in or supported by community sponsorship initiatives. 💡 To make sure we reach different communities and that everybody can answer the surveys, we can count on the support of our dedicated interviewers. On the 9th of October, a training was delivered to equip them with tools and good practices on survey administration. (1) Did you ever offer help to a newcomer with their integration? (2) Have you ever received help with your integration from a volunteer, buddy, host or sponsor? Then we want to hear from you! You can directly fill in the surveys through the links in the comments! 👥✍️ Do you experience difficulties filling out the survey on your own? Olena, Mursal and Ghassan can help you by phone or in person to complete the surveys in Dutch, English, Ukrainian, Arabic, Pashto, Farsi and Dari. Très intéressante formation donnée aujourd’hui par Ben Buckland de l'Association pour la prévention de la torture (APT) sur le rôle des mécanismes de prévention de la torture. Comment surveiller le traitement des personnes privées de liberté sur le terrain ? Quel est la valeur ajoutée d’effectuer des visites préventives ? Comment les différentes organisations concernées peuvent-elles collaborer ? Le nouveau mécanisme de prévention de la torture, des peines et traitements inhumains ou dégradants a été installé au sein de l'Institut fédéral des droits humains. Il reposera sur la collaboration étroite avec le Conseil central de surveillance pénitentiaire - Centrale toezichtsraad voor het gevangeniswezen, Myria, Centre fédéral Migration - Federaal migratiecentrum et le Comité P. [NL] Boeinde training vandaag met Ben Buckland van Association for the Prevention of Torture (APT) over de rol van preventiemechanismen tegen foltering. Hoe kunnen we ter plaatse toezicht houden op de behandeling van personen die van hun vrijheid beroofd zijn? Wat is de toegevoegde waarde van preventieve bezoeken? Hoe kunnen de verschillende betrokken organisaties samenwerken? Het nieuwe mechanisme ter voorkoming van foltering en onmenselijke of vernederende behandelingen of bestraffingen wordt binnen het Federaal Instituut voor de Rechten van de Mens opgericht. Het zal nauw samenwerken met de Conseil central de surveillance pénitentiaire - Centrale toezichtsraad voor het gevangeniswezen, Myria, Centre fédéral Migration - Federaal migratiecentrum en het Comité P.
