At N-SIDE, we celebrate the New Year in October! We just kicked off our 2025 fiscal year with an inspiring gathering from a stone’s throw away from our headquarters, setting the course for another year of innovation and growth. We welcomed keynote speaker Michel POULAERT, CSP, who raised our N-SIDErs' awareness of the incredible power of optimism, encouraging them to face challenges with resilience and creativity. This fiscal year also marks a special milestone: our 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲! If you do the math as precisely as we do, this means we’ve been driving innovation since 2000. Over these two and a half decades, we’ve seen remarkable contributions from our N-SIDErs, propelling us to the forefront of 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 in the industries we proudly serve on a global scale. As our CEO Philippe Chevalier shared, “𝐍-𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝟐.𝟓: 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲”, this motto not only celebrates our 25th anniversary but also highlights our continuous evolution. The final rays of our fiscal year kickoff celebrations set in the Land of the Rising Sun 🇯🇵 ! We celebrated the last leg of our fiscal year kickoff at CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) Tokyo, where our teams gathered to share insights, plan for the future, and strengthen our connection with the Japanese market. The evening concluded with a dinner and an inspiring visit to teamLab Planets Tokyo, a stunning digital art museum where immersive experiences blend technology, art, and nature in ways that challenge our perceptions of space and time. As we look to the future, our N-SIDE Life Sciences Director, Sandrine Dury, highlights the opportunities that lie ahead: "The rapid growth of the life sciences sector in Japan and the APAC region presents an ideal opportunity to deepen our relationships with top-tier Japanese pharmaceutical companies and expand our presence across Asia. Our goal is to further enhance our impact on patients globally, ensuring faster access to life-changing therapies". 💊 In the energy sector, Sophie Marquet, our N-SIDE Energy Director, shared her perspective: "We are committed to deepening our collaboration with JEPX and expanding the reach of our energy optimization solutions, helping Japanese electricity system operators manage increasing complexities with agility and efficiency". ⚡ With this final celebration in Japan, we close the chapter on our global fiscal year kickoffs, energized by the incredible opportunities that await us in 2025.

Since 2021, N-SIDE has been increasing the efficiency of the Indian energy market. Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) leverages our Power Matching Algorithm to facilitate its rapid market growth and accommodate the increasing complexity of bid types, especially in India’s ambitious clean energy transition. India commits to reaching 500 GW of renewable energy and 50% renewable electricity capacity by 2030. Coupled with a steady increase in electricity demand, our solution, developed by the N-SIDE Energy team, is designed to help IEX India address the complexity induced by the anticipated surge in traded volumes and the integration of an increasing share of renewables into the power system. In this context, our Power Matching Algorithm has been optimizing electricity supply and demand matching in a closed-gate auction format for more than three years, seamlessly determining the daily price and traded volume of electricity on the Indian Day-Ahead Market. For over a decade, our presence in the US has been committed to optimizing clinical trial supply for biopharmaceutical companies of all sizes across North America. As we continue to grow our footprint, we are excited to explore new opportunities, deepen partnerships with our customers, and drive even more impact in the US market. The team wrapped up the day with entertainment and dinner at Puttshack Boston, blending strategic insights with a touch of fun and setting the tone for a year filled with collaboration, growth, and success. We are looking forward to celebrating soon in Belgium and Japan as we continue this exciting journey together. 🤲
