🚨 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗞 🇬🇧! A major advancement in precision medicine: NHS South East Genomic Medicine Service representing 15,4% of the population in England, has transitioned to OncoDNA's 𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗗𝗘𝗘𝗣® 𝗞𝗶𝘁. Thanks to this, patients will benefit from faster and more accurate access to genomic testing, essential for personalised oncology treatments. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀: ✔️ Improved detection of copy number variations (CNVs), including losses, in a single test. ✔️ An integrated test for tumour mutational load (TMB), microsatellite instability (MSI), and homologous recombination deficiency (HRD). ✔️ Reduced sample processing times, improving overall efficiency. Recent study published in #Nature at the Bambino Gesù hospital (Italy) using OncoDNA's OncoDEEP kit    A study at the Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital in Rome used our #OncoDEEP kit for NGS analysis, offering comprehensive genomic profiling for paediatric tumour cases. Our test, which targets 638 cancer-relevant genes, has enabled researchers to identify crucial mutations in the DICER1 and BRCA2 genes in young patients, providing vital information about cancer predisposition syndromes. Using OncoDEEP technology, the team was able to detect important genomic alterations, including tumour mutational load (TMB), microsatellite instability (MSI) and homologous recombination deficiency (HRD). The results have paved the way for more personalised treatment strategies in paediatric oncology. This study highlights the power of genomic profiling in advancing cancer care and developing more personalised treatment plans for young patients.
