The Port of Tangier is a deep-water port inaugurated in 2007 and located on the side of the Strait of Gibraltar, in the north of Morocco. It is also very close to the Spanish city of Ceuta. Its strategic location, makes it a key point on the maritime trade routes to Europe, America and, of course, Africa. This case study is about the rehabilitation of a deck type industrial roof, with rock wool and bituminous sheet with an aged mineral finish. It was with great emotion that we received the news of Hugo Herault’s passing. He was a long standing member of our association and served as President of PDA Europe in 2016. He greatly contributed to the growth and success of our association. His professionalism, benevolence and dedication to our mission was greatly appreciated by everyone who had the privilege of working with him.
