Last week I was representing PolyPerception for the first time at the International Fair of Recovery and Recycling #SRR in Madrid, and I must say that it was great to see all the interest in analysis systems! The show was an amazing opportunity to meet new faces from the Spanish market, learn more about the waste recycling efforts in Spain and test my Spanish skills 😌 A special thank you to TOMRA Recycling for having PolyPerception in the booth and to Judit Jansana, Cristina Castelló Castosa, Bianca Gruber, Pablo Barahona, Ernesto Olvera, Hildemar Mendez, Jordi Ramajo and Eduardo Morán Alegría ♻️ for the warm welcome and support throughout the tradeshow!

We first launched our proof-of-concept at the Plastics Recycling Show Europe in 2021. Since then, we’ve seen a great determination from the industry to understand, test and implement our analyzers. It was great to be back last week to see a lot of familiar and new faces. We have three key takeaways: ✅ PPWR is on everyone’s mind ✅ The need for data-driven compliance and sorting optimization is becoming the norm (yes, we’re biased) ✅ Belgium will win the Euros (just kidding – not everyone at PolyPerception supports this point)

We are excited to have you on the team for the next couple of months! 🤩
On the 27th of May I joined PolyPerception for a summer internship. As of writing this post I have completed my first week, which has been highly informative and exciting. Each member of the team gave me an introduction to the company and what their roles entitled from building and the coding of the product to the operations and data management. The meticulous innovation that is occurring on a daily level is unbelievable as the product is constantly being iterated upon to provide the best for the customers and their individual needs. Throughout this internship I will get hands on experience in all the different sectors of the company, which will further my understanding of how AI can be revolutionize the world. I am thankful to the PolyPerception team for this amazing opportunity!
