Learn from experts, discuss with peer regions and cities and take the most of European best practices about a certain topic. Today it was the topic of #SharedMobility, and from SMAPE - Shared Mobility Action Programmes Exchange we couldn't be happier to contribute to the deployment and mainstreaming of these solutions in Europe. In Ghent, our partners Autodelen.net, Freie Hansestadt Bremen, Service public de Wallonie and POLIS Network were in one session dedicated to shared mobility bringing their experiences. Autodelen.net director Jeffrey Matthijs presented some of the best car-sharing solutions in Belgium, Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg officer Fabian Kriete showed the mobility hub strategy, and Philippine G. from Service Public presented the shared mobility action plan from the region. What a fun ride, Ljubljana! 🚵 SMAPE - Shared Mobility Action Programmes Exchange recently met in Ljubljana for the first SMAPE Summer Academy. Summer academies can bring the best by mixing informal, immersive events while offering an intensive collaboration, learning, and networking environment. The topic of the workshops? Diversity, inclusivity, and equal access to shared mobility, impact Assessment and economics of shared mobility and citizen engagement. Greetings from Ljubljana, where our colleagues Bram Seeuws and Loes Salomez are attending the SMAPE - Shared Mobility Action Programmes Exchange Summer Academy. Today, Loes delivered an insightful presentation on “Inclusivity of Shared Mobility Services”. 🎤 Her talk sparked engaging discussions on how we can ensure shared mobility is accessible and inclusive for everyone. Way to go!

🌍 Shared mobility is everywhere—Even on holiday! 🌞 Did anyone notice how #SharedMobility is becoming more prominent, even in the most unexpected places? One of our partners shared an inspiring story from their camping trip in the north of Spain. They were amazed to see how well-integrated shared bike schemes have become in this rural area! 🚴♂️ And here is the proof! This experience perfectly reflects the growing trend we’re seeing across Europe. Public authorities and services, whether in cities or rural areas, are recognizing the value of shared mobility. It's not just an urban phenomenon anymore—it's expanding into every corner of our lives. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻: shared mobility is expanding beyond cities and into every corner of our lives. This year’s theme is "EU Values Overcoming Borders". 🇪🇺 💫 Through this campaign, we will focus on organizing local events that highlight the progress our programs and projects have made in providing equal access to education, healthcare, and employment, while promoting inclusive communities. Our objective is to demonstrate how the EU has actively worked to eliminate barriers, ensuring that EU Values and equal opportunities are accessible to all. #Stakeholders- PROVINCIA DI MANTOVA hosted the second #SMAPE Meeting 🌟 The second SMAPE stakeholder meeting took place recently at the Province of Mantova offices, bringing together municipal representatives, local administrators, and #SharedMobility service providers in a forward-thinking gathering for shared mobility. Meeting Highlights: 🚀 Guido Piccoli, CEO of ALOT srl, provided an overview of the SMAPE - Shared Mobility Action Programmes Exchange project, emphasizing the need for a cultural shift towards shared mobility. 🔋 E-VAI - FNM Group showcased their cutting-edge e-mobility fleets and the mobility hub in Bollate, enhancing public transport by connecting urban and remote areas. 💡 Participants engaged in discussions about local challenges and opportunities, contributing ideas on the next steps and how the Province can support these initiatives.
