Our technology has been characterized on 11 foundries including advanced nodes at TSMC, UMC, GF, Samsung Foundry (more). Our customers have integrated Sofics IP into more than 5000 IC designs across many different application verticals.     Our colleagues Mark Davitt and Bart Keppens will be at the #TSMC OIP (Open Innovation Platform) Ecosystem forum in Santa Clara, CA next week Wednesday (September 25). They are eager to show our progress on #overvoltage tolerant I/O circuits and unique on-chip #ESD protection designs for the most advanced process technologies.     The EOS/ESD Symposium is taking place in #Reno this week. The conference is dedicated to Electrostatic Discharge and overstress issues for Integrated Circuits. 3 of our colleagues are attending the conference: Rani Baetens, Olivier Marichal and Wim Vanhouteghem. On Sunday morning, Wim presented a tutorial "Introduction to Characterization of On-Chip ESD Protection" - picture below. Olivier presented a tutorial too, already on Saturday, about "Introduction to On-Chip ESD Protection" providing background on design aspects. More info and detailed program: https://lnkd.in/eWhJ7SR8

    Next week, September 18, GlobalFoundries is hosting their annual GTS event in #Munich. GF Technology Summit (GTS) 2024 is GF's worldwide, annual series of in-person, technology-focused events. This year's GTS will focus on how essential chips play a critical role in accelerating #AI, with keynotes, panel discussions and deep dive sessions. SOFICS has supported 10+ GF customers on different process nodes. We have proven IP on 130nm & 22nm SOI, 130nm & 65/55nm CMOS and 9HP BiCMOS. Our colleague Ehsan Fallah will attend the conference.     Last Friday, we gathered for another "Lunch & Learn" session for a preview of the presentation that we will be delivering at upcoming #TSMC #OIP events. 🎤 The talk is titled "Enabling a Battery-Free IoT Future: Sofics and ONiO Collaboration on Ultra-Low Leakage ESD Protection." Ehsan Fallah walked us through how Sofics is playing a role in ONiO's groundbreaking mission for a more sustainable world. 🌍 ONiO, a visionary company from Norway, has developed the ONiO.zero — an MCU that runs entirely on ambient energy, eliminating the need for traditional batteries. This innovation can drastically reduce the billions of batteries that end up in landfills each year. 🔋 Sofics' Contribution?
