🎉 Last month the RePower Ukraine Charitable foundation officially opened its #solar☀ and storage system at the Brovary Regional Hopsital 🏥 in Ukraine.   The hospital’s newly installed hybrid solar + storage system, consisting of a 24 kW solar power plant and 28.8 kWh energy storage system, will support a stable electricity supply for the hospital's intensive care unit. ❤️🩹   SolarPower Europe member SMA Solar Technology AG, donated all of the costs of the hybrid solar and storage system at the Brovary Regional Hospital as part of our #SolarSupportsUkraine 🌻 campaign with BSW – Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e.V.   The hybrid opening ceremony was attended by Igor Sapozhko, Mayor of Brovary; Tim Prange, Permanent Deputy Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine; Serhiy Dubrov, First Deputy Minister at the Ministry of health of Ukraine; Jörg Ebel, Board Director of SolarPower Europe; Eric Quiring, Director of Global Public Affairs at SMA Solar; and Walburga Hemetsberger, SolarPower Europe CEO.   Our #SolarSupportsUkraine campaign is helping to install solar on schools 🏫 and hospitals 🏥 in Ukraine, tackling energy outages. CommonEn has invested in two #solar PV park installations with a capacity of 100kW each.   “Initially, our motivation was to save money,” Ioanna explains. “But very soon, we found ourselves setting broader goals, like fighting energy poverty and meeting the needs of our city's residents.
