“The Queens of Alkebulan: Shifting Paradigms”

About us

The Queens of Alkebulan is a podcast that showcase Millenial and Gen Z Afro-descendants Women of influence and impact: ‘game-changers from their respective industry’ within the continent and from the diaspora. The aim of the podcast is to share the inspiring and stimulating journeys of these resilient women with the world and the next generation of women entrepreneurs and leaders while shifting paradigms one story at a time. Alkebulan or Alkebu-Lan which means The Mother of Mankind or Garden of Eden is the oldest name of our country (African continent) and the only word of indigenous origin. It was used by the Moors, Nubians, Numidians, Khart-Haddans (Carthagenians), and Ethiopians. Africa, the current misnomer adopted by almost everyone today, was given to this continent by the ancient Greeks and Romans. Let’s embrace our TRUE identity & ONENESS: « We are ONE people, ONE country: we are ALL Alkebu-Lan » !
