💧#Groundwater, which supplies two-thirds of the EU’s drinking water, is under growing pressure, stated the European Environment Agency’s latest State of Water Report. 🔍While 91% of groundwater areas are in good quantitative status, water stress is expanding, and pollution from nutrients and pesticides threatens 14% and 10% of these areas, respectively. 📣The report calls for improved water management, sustainable agricultural practices, and solutions like water metering to ensure a more water-resilient future. 🔗 Read more: https://lnkd.in/eQnsqqku #WaterCrisis #DrinkingWater #Sustainability #Groundwater #WaterManagement #EEA #ClimateAction #WaterEfficiency

Here, our partners from Veolia Water Technologies are doing ground-breaking work to ensure clean and safe drinking water is distributed to the population of Beaune Côtes et Sud. 👏A huge thank you to all our partners for their dedication and commitment! Here, the water treatment process primarily relies on the Bouzaise plant, which draws water from the Bouzaise spring and distributes it to the Beaune city.
