This worrying trend highlights the urgent need for comprehensive mental health support and policies. We are committed to proposing effective solutions to combat this crisis, like initiatives to identify early signs in schools, protecting digital well-being, and bridging gaps in child protection services. But what sets us truly apart? At Volt, we are one big cross-border community. No one has to struggle alone. War is spreading in the Middle East. We call for a comprehensive ceasefire, the release of the hostages and international accountability. As part of their new plan for Europe’s sustainable prosperity and competitiveness, the European Commission tasked Mario Draghi to draft a report on the future of European competitiveness. His report was published recently. What do we think of it? We support Draghi’s call for structural reforms aimed at boosting productivity, innovation & resilience, but there is more work to be done. One of the real challenges lies in the implementation, for which we have to act together.
