🚀 Good news for Wallonia. The British Clover Group has chosen Wallonia to establish its base in continental Europe. Clover Group recently inaugurated its European hub in Fleurus – Charleroi Métropole. As experts in specialized and regulated logistics services for the aerospace and defense sectors, Clover Group had been looking to establish a base in continental Europe since Brexit. After benchmarking neighboring countries, Wallonia was selected as the optimal destination to serve Europe 🌍. 📖 https://lnkd.in/e5kTBfFu "Wallonia is a central region in Europe with a highly developed multimodal network 🚛🚂. It is ideally located between France, the Netherlands, and Germany. Additionally, the regional investment incentives are a bonus, although they were not the deciding factor," notes Yacin Saadi, Vice President of Clover Group Europe. "There is also, and above all, a rich aerospace and defense ecosystem, with companies like Sonaca, Thales Alenia Space, Sabena Engineering, Safran, Aerospacelab, FN Herstal, Mecar… An ecosystem that continues to grow. Video mapping studio Dirty Monitor teamed up with Barco Entertainment - Immersive Experiences, PROFIRST, Tempora and ShowTex Asia to offer visitors a unique immersive experience around the theme of #health. The Consortium has chosen to structure the visitor trail around the strong, unifying idea of “human #regeneration”, which will be broken down into 3 axes: 💉#REACT, preventing disease - vaccines  💡 #REPARE, cure - AI, prostheses ♻ #REGENERATE, pushing back the limits of human life - life cycle (fertility, gene therapies and aging population) Wallonia will be showcasing its know-how in the field of #IA in the service of health, and more specifically #digitaltwins. MedReSyst TRAIL - Trusted AI Labs Finally, the creative expression of the Belgian pavilion will be based on the graphic principle of the #Kintsugi.
