This building used to be a prestigious cinema, built in the 1920’s. 🎞️ Xior Student Housing transformed the building into a beautiful residence in 2022 which can house approximately 140 students. 🥂Yesterday was a special day: Xior Zaragoza was officially opened! We are very proud of the result of this remarkable project. These historic buildings dating from 1792-1799 were transformed into a beautiful residence that provides a second home to 382 students. The fantastic work of our teams and our main construction partner ACR Grupo made us able to restore the buildings to their former glory in a sustainable way and revitalize the Pignatelli neighbourhood. The residence obtained Energy Certification Type A and will be recognized with an International Leed Certification.  The official opening was the cherry on top of this wonderful project. CEO Christian Teunissen cut the inaugural ribbon, followed by a site tour and a meet-up with the mayor of Zaragoza. 🙏 A special thank you to all of the teams, partners, authorities and local community for their support throughout this project. Cheers to a wonderful result, a beautiful opening and lots of happy new students! 🤩 

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the three-day EAIE: European Association for International Education Conference in Toulouse, France! 🌍 It was a wonderful experience for our teams 🌟 Colleagues from different countries joined forces to make the conference a great success! Thanks to the productive meetings, engaging stand visits and exciting networking events, we went home filled with fresh ideas and inspiration for our mission: providing a great first living experience for all of our students.
