🌟  𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐠𝐢𝐮𝐦’𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐭: 𝐀 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧 According to an international study, Belgium is in the top 3 countries most affected by parental burn-out. Therefore, Degroof Petercam Foundation embarked on a groundbreaking consultation across Belgium to find concrete solutions for balancing parenthood and professional life. The response was overwhelming, with nearly 180,000 votes cast on various solutions, showcasing a strong desire for change. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: Massive Engagement: Over 11,000 participants, predominantly women, voiced their concerns and ideas - "which highlights that this issue still predominantly resonates with women", said Anne-Sophie Pype, the Managing Director of the Degroof Petercam Foundation. Popular Solutions: Out 665 proposals, 300 stood out, with 9 key solutions identified around three main themes: Childcare, inclusive family support and measures at the workplace. Solutions around improving childcare access and upgrading after-school care programs resonate most deeply. Inclusive measures for single-parent families or those with special needs also stood out. 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬:  The Degroof Petercam Foundation will host 9 consultation workshops in November with experts, the civil society, associations, fellow foundations and citizens. 🌟 La crise de l'épuisement parental en Belgique : Top 3 mondial En mai et juin, nous avons lancé une consultation citoyenne inédite sur la parentalité et le travail, visant à trouver des solutions concrètes pour réconcilier vie familiale et vie professionnelle. L’initiative a été un succès retentissant. Près de 180 000 votes ont été récoltés, soulignant l’importance de la problématique en Belgique. 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐮𝐱 : Large participation : Plus de 11 000 participants. Cependant, principalement des femmes se sont exprimées. « Preuve que cette préoccupation reste encore majoritairement féminine », selon Anne-Sophie Pype, la directrice générale de la Fondation Degroof Petercam. Idées plébiscitées : Parmi les propositions, 300 se sont démarquées, avec 9 pistes clés identifiées autour de trois axes : la garde d’enfants, le soutien familial et des mesures en milieu de travail. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 : La Fondation Degroof Petercam organisera 10 ateliers de co-construction en novembre avec des experts, la société civile, des mécènes et les citoyens.
