[Event] What better way to explore the #EuropeanMarket than by visiting its capital, Brussels? Last week, hub.brussels hosted a #delegation of innovative #Indian startups focused on #battery recycling ♻️ As part of an EU-India exchange supported by Global Business Inroads (GBI), the delegation wrapped up their European tour in Brussels, visiting leading research institutes and key companies in #sustainability. The program began with a visit to the MOBI Electromobility Research Centre at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where they learned about the latest advancements in sustainable mobility and toured the battery testing facilities. Next, the delegation met with Watt4Ever, a Brussels-based startup specializing in battery recycling for local energy storage solutions. Day two featured sessions on Brussels' business landscape, including accessing venture capital and navigating Belgian tax incentives. A highlight was a talk by Université libre de Bruxelles Professor Prakash Venkatesan on sustainable metallurgy. The group also visited Umicore's headquarters to discuss battery recycling and collaboration opportunities. They toured Greenbizz.brussels, the main incubator for sustainability startups, before exploring Brussels’ historic center and picking up some delicious #BelgianChocolates 🍫.
