When Anne Trubek founded Belt Magazine, in 2013, she envisioned a publication “by and for the Rust Belt.” For the past five years, we’ve published thoughtful, nuanced writing that does exactly that, going beyond the stereotypes to share the story of the region in all its complexity. Membership Levels and Benefits

Payments processed securely through PayPal. You have the option to pay monthly or pay for one year in full. For monthly subscriptions, your credit card will be charged the monthly amount for one year, then we will contact you to see if you would like to renew your membership.

Membership Level I

Members at this level will receive a Belt Magazine decal, as well as exclusive, member-only updates straight from the editors.

Membership Level II

Members at this level will receive all of the above, plus a copy of Red State Blues: Stories of Midwestern Life on the Left, published in 2018 by Belt Publishing.

Membership Level III

Benefits: All of the above plus a lifetime membership to Belt Publishing–meaning 50% off every book the press publishes, forever.
