Workflow of the day of #30DaysOFQGIS from Spatial Thoughts was about best practices to have on QGIS: 1. Save the project inside geopackage file is the best way to share work with collegues. 2. Create new user profil when QGIS misbehaving if you want to go back to factory setting. 3. Check "Open attribute table as docked window" allow you to keep QGIS organized even if you have several attribute tables open (image).

The Litramap system is a powerful tool for monitoring the progress of linear #infrastructure projects. It uses satellite remote sensing techniques and a GIS web-based platform to automatically create and present the planned and actual progress of repeated construction operations in a linear infrastructure project. Litramap is designed to monitor projects with repetitive and linear geometrical layouts, such as highways, trains, and pipelines. It detects repeating building stages in each location/unit. It generates a progress map and line of balance component charts on a web-based platform to track overall project progress compared to the baseline timeline. The use of Universal Transverse Mercator (#UTM) maps for these Linear infrastructure projects is yet another benefit of working on such projects. #industry #technology #innovation #innovative #AI
